Riding a PWC in Ohio

Are there different rules for PWC in Ohio?

Everyone on a PWC or being towed by a PWC must wear a USCG approved PFD type I, II, III or V at all times.

If you are operating a personal watercraft equipped with a lanyard type engine cutoff switch, you must attach the lanyard to your clothing, PFD, yourself or as appropriate for the specific device.

You must not operate a personal watercraft between sunset and sunrise.

The wake of the PWC must not be excessive nor create a hazard to other vessels.

Anyone who owns or is responsible for a personal watercraft must not permit operation in violation of these laws.
