Operating under the influence of drugs and alcohol in New Jersey

In New Jersey, it is unlawful to operate a vessel or under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Persons who have a BAC of 0.08% or greater while operating/utilizing vessels are considered operating under the influence (OUI).
By operating a power vessel or a vessel 12 feet or greater in length on the waters of New Jersey, vessel operators give their consent (implied consent) to undergo an alcohol/drugs test.
