After reaching a mutual agreement on the price with your buyer, it's time to seal the deal. Arrange a mutually convenient time for the buyer to inspect the boat in person.  If the buyer is satisfied, finalize the payment and transfer ownership.

Complete the necessary paperwork to transfer ownership of the boat to the buyer.  One of the documents required for the transfer of ownership is the Bill of Sale.

Before filling the Bill of Sale, collect all necessary information about the boat and the transaction. This includes the boat's make, model, year, hull identification number (HIN), registration number, and any other relevant details. Also, gather the buyer's and seller's full names, addresses, and contact information. The seller should include a statement affirming that they have the legal right to sell the boat and that it is free from any liens or encumbrances, unless otherwise disclosed. The buyer should acknowledge that they are purchasing the boat in its current condition and accept any risks associated with it. Both the buyer and seller must sign and date the bill of sale.
