What is the temporary operator card?
The temporary pleasure craft operator card (boating license) is temporary electronic or paper proof that a person has passed the Transport Canada exam and can legally operate a pleasure craft on Canadian waters. Temporary certification is valid for three months from when you pass the exam and allows you to operate a pleasure craft while you wait for your official and permanent pleasure craft operator card from Transport Canada.
How do I print my temporary operator card?
Click CONNECTION on the top right of the page, then:

Enter your email address and password to open “my profile”

On your profile page click on the button: Print my temporary operator card

Please note that you will not be able to print a temporary operator card if you have not yet passed the final Transport Canada exam.
