Hazard buoys and markers

hazard buoys or markers indicate random hazards such as rocks and shoal. Hazard buoy is colored white with an orange diamond on two opposite sides and two orange horizontal bands.

Not all shallow areas or submerged hazards are marked by a hazard buoy. If you run aground in a vessel, you should stop the engine and check the passengers onboard to make sure no one is injured or in danger.
